Seminar for architects, designers, artists and members of the general public with an interest in this subject.The sessions will be led by prominent figures in the Art ,Architecture and Design scene and will comprise of four forum sessions, separated by tea/coffee breaks and lunch. Panelists include; John Tuomey of O'Donnell + Tuomey Architects; Ciaran Benson, Professor of Psychology at UCD; Eilis O'Connell, Artist; Vivienne Roche, Artist; Gemma Tipton, Author 'Space: Architecture for Art'; Rod Springett: Designer, Fellow of the Royal Society of Art; Nathalie Weadick: Deputy Director, The Architecture Foundation, London.

Just imagine if Kinsale had its own arts venue, what a tremendous asset this would be to the community. This competition for budding designers, architects or anyone with a creative vision for their local community has run over a 6 month period, and has been open to teenagers and adult amateurs. Entries include 2D and 3D visuals and presentations, awards will be presented to the winners in each category at the Art, Architecture and Design Seminar, being held at the Trident Hotel.
